Due to the ongoing Coronavirus, recent Government guidelines require us to close our shop from Thursday 5th November until at least Thursday 3rd December. This means we will not be accepting any visitors unless it is to pick up a ready Click & Collect order.
As always our website www.differentclassschoolwear.co.uk remains fully operational and parents/carers can still order online. You still have the option of either delivery to your home address via Royal Mail or Click & Collect. If selecting Click & Collect, you will receive two emails, the first will confirm your order, the second will alert you to when your order is ready for collection. Once you have received this second email, you can collect it from our premises during our usual opening hours which are 9 am - 5 pm, Mon - Fri.
Web orders will continue to be processed and sent out as quickly as possible whilst our shop remains closed. If you need to exchange/return any uniform items please post them back to our address with as much detail possible such as your name, order number, and what items need refunding. For an exchange, you will need to return the order for a refund and then place a separate order online for the new size.

Appointments must be booked online. No appointments will be made over the telephone.
If you do not arrive for an appointment and do not cancel, we reserve the right to cancel future appointments without prior notice. We will only allow one adult per fitting in the showroom. All children above 11 years old and accompanying adults are required to wear a mask. We are only accepting card payments.
During this period we are unable to update/amend online orders over the telephone. Online orders are taking significantly longer to process due to issues with the entire supply chain, we are unable to give updates over the telephone. You will be notified by email when your order is dispatched. All our orders are sent via Royal Mail 48 hour delivery from point of despatch, currently this is taking between 7-14 days. Royal Mail are facing delays themselves, Different Class are not responsible for delivery delays with Royal Mail.
During this time, you may receive part of your order, the rest will follow once back in stock.
Due to Covid, we are not accepting exchanges, you will need to return the items to us for a refund and place a new order. Should you wish to avoid postage charges on the new order, you may opt for click and collect. Should you wish to return items in person, this will only be accepted on a pre booked appointment.
For Click and collect orders, please wait until you receive email notification that your order is ready for collection.

Appointments/fittings are closed until further notice but our online channel remains open. Please be aware that due to the current situation, we are committed to following the Government Guidelines as best as possible for the safety of staff. Therefore there may be a small delay in despatching orders placed, but we aim to resume regular activity for online orders with an estimated turn around time of 5-7 days. We thank you for your patience and wish you well during this difficult period.
The health and safety of our staff, their families and of course our communities is our number one priority, therefore following the latest Government advice, I am informing you that Different Class Schoolwear will close temporarily from today. Whilst our online ordering system will remain operational, please note that your order may not be dispatched during this period.
We will of course return to normal service as soon as practicable and will, of course, continue to update you via the website and our Facebook page.
I’d like to reassure you that we have secured stock for back to school 2020 and our team will work tirelessly to ensure that we will be here, ready with our outstanding service when the time arrives.
